When I find myself in times of trouble 
Mother Mary comes to me,
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be. 

내가 어려운 시련 속에 있는 자신을 발견할 때면
어머니는 날 찾아 오시어 지혜로운 말씀으로 내 맘을 어루 만져 주셨는데 
그것이 바로 "그냥 놔두렴 (Let it be)" 이었어요. 

 
And in my hour of darkness 
She is standing right in front of me,

내가 어두운 마음으로 우울할 때에도
어머니는 항상 내 앞에 오시어 위로해 주시지요.
지혜로운 말씀으로 내게 속삭여 주시지요. "그냥 놔두렴" 
"그냥 보고 기다리려무나" " 네 힘으로 네 맘대로 되는 게 아니지 않니" 
"그래 네 마음을 놓아두거라" "그냥 놔두려무나"   


And when the broken hearted people 
Living in the world agree, 
There will be an answer, let it be. 

세상에서 많은 상처 입은 사람들이 다 받아 드리고 
"그래! 그거야! 맞아!" 라고  할 수 있는 한 마디 대답은  
틀림없이 바로 "그냥 놓아 두어라" 일 것이지요.

사람들이 아픔으로 나뉘어 헤어 질지라도 
아직 남아 았는 기회를 만나게 될것이지요. 
바로 그것이 "그냥 놓아 두어라" "바라보기만 해라" 
"네맘대로 안되는 일에 네 집착 을 버려라" 
"그냥 일이 되어 가는대로 관조하라"죠.
네! 맞는 말씀이죠 " 그냥 놓아 버리세요."

구름 낀 밤 무엇인가 우울할 때에
내 마음 속을 밝혀주는 등불이 게속 비추어 주고 있지요. 
내일에도 계속 비추어주는 빛
예!  바로 "그냥 흘러가게 내버려 두어라!" 입니다.

지혜의 속삭이는 말.... "스스로 흘러가게 하라! "입니다.
