영화 <추억> (The Way We Were)의 주제가

영화 "추억" (The Way We Were)은 1973년 시드니 폴락 감독으로 로버트 레드포드와 바바라 스트라이젠드가 주연을 맡았다. 아주 다른 두사람이 사랑속에서 겪는 갈등과 그리고 이별. 이상주의, 개체성, 그리고 사랑으로 엮은 이영화는 삶의 서글픔을 기억하게 해준다. 이영화의 주제가인 "The Way We Were"는 Alan Bergman과 Marilyn Bergman의 작사로 Marvin Hamlisch가 작곡하였다. 이영화에는 바바라 스프라이젠드가 부른 노래가 삽입되었고 이곡은 1973년 아카데미의 "Best Original Song"상을 받았으며 아련하고 슬픈 사랑의 노래로 많은 인기를 받았다.
