지구상에는 지금도 4천만의 노예가 존재한다 ! / Richard Lee 강연 줄거리 ; 지금도 노예는 존재하고있다. 현재 약 4천만명의 노예가 존재하고 있는데 이는 한국의 전체인구의 약 78% 에 해당하는 하는 사람들이 노예로 살고 있다는 얘기가된다. 이들은 공장이나 산업현장 에서 강제노역을 하고 있으며 아프리카, 동남아지옄에서는 미성년 소녀들이 거리로 내 몰려 성매매 노예생활을 하고 있고, 때로는 어린이들을 섹스 촬영 카메라앞에 서는 경우도 허다하다. 그러면 이러한 노예를 구출하려면 무슨 방법이 있을까 ? Richard Lee 목사는 노예주를 감옥에 보내야 한다고 주장한다. 한사람의 노예주를 감옥에 가두어 두면 100명의 노예가 자유로워진다는 주장이다. 노예주를 감옥에 보낼려면 정부가 입법을 해야하고 이 법을 집행할수 있는 공권력(경찰력)을 강화해야 노예는 근절된다는 얘기다. 현재 인도와, 캄보디아 국가등이 노예주를 일벌백계로 처벌 감옥에 보냄으로서 노예를 근절하는데 큰 성과를 올리고 있다. Richard Lee's work with International Justice Mission shines a light on the complex socioeconomics of modern day slavery around the world, and offers hope for combatting it. Richard Lee serves as a Director of Church Mobilization for International Justice Mission. This role affords him the opportunity to equip churches and communities by sharing the biblical call to seek justice, introducing them to IJM’s work, and mobilizing them to engage in both local and global ministry. Previously, Richard served as Campus Pastor at Liquid Church at their fastest-growing campus in Mountainside, New Jersey. Prior to that, he served as Lead Pastor at Bethany Well Church. He also started and led 2 networks for pastors, providing accountability and encouragement for local pastors. In addition, Richard has served as a Missions Field Director and Team Leader for missions trips around the globe, including trips to Mexico, China, and Ukraine. He is available to speak at church engagements, anti-human trafficking groups, and a variety of conferences.
